Westmount, 22 June 2014 – As part of the Regiment’s Centennial activities, the RMR Foundation will be publishing a series of “This Day in RMR History” stories to highlight the activities of the RMR 100 years ago. Additional significant anniversaries will be added in as well, like the 70th anniversary of the battle for the Leopold Canal in October, for example. All the entries will be posted to the RMR Facebook and Twitter account pages.
“This Day in RMR History” is researched and written by Captain (ret’d) Hamilton Slessor, a former RMR officer. There will be a series of contextual posts to explain the lead-up to war – check back often for updates!
