THIS DAY IN RMR HISTORY: Col. A. F. Duguid’s “Official History of the Canadian Forces in the Great War, 1914-1919,” contains in the appendices to Vol. 1 a table showing the schedule or “Roster of Relief in the Trenches” for the month of March 1915, from which this is a part. It shows how battalions of the three brigades of the Division were rotated in and out of the trenches, and through various levels of reserve lines.
The RMR’s schedule for March 1915 is highlighted in red on the chart below.
