Westmount, Quebec – 31 May 2016: The RMR Museum is pleased to announce that Mélanie Presseau-Dumais has won a contract to conduct a detailed inventory and create a digital archive of the museum’s collection. Mlle. Presseau-Dumais has completed a Masters in Museum Studies at Université du Québec à Montréal/Université de Montréal, and she has previously worked at the Montreal Holocaust Memorial Centre.
Supervised by the RMR Museum’s curator, Ron Zemancik, and the Museum Officer, Captain Grant Furholter, Mlle. Presseau-Dumais will spend the next year in creating an archive that can be used for the RMR Museum’s planned expansion as well as becoming an educational resource that can be used by schools in the community.
