Major-General C.B. Price’s daughter, Helen (Pooh) Perodeau passed away on 15 January 2014. Her father was the RMR’s first Sergeant-Major, served in the RMR for the entire first World War (earning the DSO), commanded the Regiment twice, was the driving force behind getting the RMR it’s armoury in Westmount, he became a division commander in WW2, was the RMR’s Honorary Colonel for many years, and served as the President of Dominion Command, The Royal Canadian Legion. Helen actually served with her father during WW2 in the Canadian Red Cross (overseas), which he headed up after retiring from active duty. Our thoughts are with the family.
