Westmount, QC – 31 October 2014: Global Montreal has created #poppyproud to promote Remembrance by encouraging people to take a selfie of themselves with a veteran and posting it on social media with the #poppyproud tag.
RMR Association (Branch 14) Royal Canadian Legion President, Comrade Mike Fitzgerald, kicked things off by pinning the first poppies of the 2014 Campaign on Global Montreal personalities at their studio.
A film crew was on hand to witness the start of the RMR Association’s poppy campaign at Alexis-Nihon. Watch the video here.
