Majestic<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>THIS DAY IN RMR HISTORY, 10 Oct 1914 &#8211; \u201cDaylight on the 10<sup>th<\/sup> disclosed the <em>Princess Royal <\/em>and the <em>Majestic<\/em>, which had been waiting at the rendezvous for two days.\u00a0 The troops gave the <em>Princess Royal <\/em>a warm ovation on the 12<sup>th<\/sup> when she dropped back to the convoy and steamed at 22 knots in full review past the cheering troop ships.\u201d\u00a0 <a href=\"#_edn1\" name=\"_ednref1\">[2]<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.royalmontrealregiment.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/10-Oct-14.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-9566 size-medium\" src=\"http:\/\/www.royalmontrealregiment.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/10-Oct-14-300x275.jpg\" alt=\"10 Oct 14\" width=\"300\" height=\"275\" \/><\/a>It has been noted previously that The Royal Montreal Regiment was divided between the transport ships <em>Alaunia<\/em> and <em>Andania<\/em>.
