Former members of the Regiment, guests and serving non-commissioned officers of the RMR listened intently to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.veterans.gc.ca\/eng\/about-us\/department-officials\/minister\/commendation\/bio\/303\" target=\"_blank\">Mr. Okill Stuart<\/a> recount his experiences\u2019 as a Bombardier with the 14th Canadian Field Regiment (RCA). \u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.veterans.gc.ca\/eng\/about-us\/department-officials\/minister\/commendation\/bio\/303\" target=\"_blank\">Mr. Okill Stuart <\/a>recounted with great candour the D Day invasion of Nomandy and later his experiences in the Netherlands and Germany.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_11149\" class=\"thumbnail wp-caption alignleft\" style=\"width: 245px\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.royalmontrealregiment.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Ypres_3.png\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-11149 \" src=\"http:\/\/www.royalmontrealregiment.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Ypres_3-300x197.png\" alt=\"Ypres_3\" width=\"245\" height=\"161\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"caption wp-caption-text\">(L-&gt;R) MWO Cochrane (RSM), WO Ladd, and LCol Langlais (CO)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Following the dinner Regimental Sergeant Major of the RMR, MWO David Cochrane, presented plaques to outgoing members of the Mess to MWO Ladd, MWO Langlois and WO Desmeules. \u00a0A presentation to the former RSM, CWO Crawford, capped off the evenings formal functions.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_11151\" class=\"thumbnail wp-caption alignright\" style=\"width: 300px\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.royalmontrealregiment.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Ypres_4.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-11151\" src=\"http:\/\/www.royalmontrealregiment.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/Ypres_4-300x201.png\" alt=\"PMC addresses the dinner guests\" width=\"300\" height=\"201\" \/><\/a><figcaption class=\"caption wp-caption-text\">PMC addresses the dinner guests<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The evening concluded and was a great success, the PMC took\u00a0the\u00a0opportunity to challenge everyone in attendance to reach back to former members of the mess and ensure they attend next year\u2019s dinner.<\/p>\n<p>*** Were you a member of the Warrant Officer\u2019s &amp; Sergeants Mess and would like to be notified of events, dinners and news?
