Westmount, 05 August 14 – RMR Association (Branch 14) of the Royal Canadian Legion regrets to announce the death of Comrade Don Caissie yesterday at Ridge Meadows, British Columbia.
Pre-deceased by his parents, Romeo and Audrey, he is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Karen, sons Christopher (Natasha), Michael, sister Joanne (Doug), grandchildren Logan, Anastasia and Ryder, as well as extended family. Don served with the RMR from 1969 – 74, and as a long-time member of the Maple Ridge branch of the Royal Canadian Legion, he has steadfastly insisted in wearing his RMR colours…. Cherry beret, RMR badge & RMR tie ever since he joined them.
Visitation, Friday August 8, 2014 from 7-9 PM with service on August 9, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Maple Ridge Funeral Chapel, 11969-216th St, Maple Ridge BC, reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers donations to the cancer agency.
Don will always be remembered for his love of life, family and country.
