Westmount, QC – 01 December 2015: GivingTuesday marks the opening day of the holiday giving season. Occurring annually on the Tuesday after Black Friday and Cyber Monday, the movement encourages individuals and organizations to join together and find innovative ways to give back to the charities and nonprofits they support. Tuesday, December 1st, 2015 serves as a focal point in our collective efforts to make our society stronger and more caring.
As such, the RMR Foundation launched their annual fundraising appeal to support our annual commitments to serve the Regimental Family to coincide with GivingTuesday.
A successful campaign this year will allow the RMR Foundation to more effectively support the members of our active battalion, veterans, and Cadets as well as ensuring that the RMR’s Armoury remains as it was originally intended: A memorial to our RMR comrades who paid the supreme sacrifice.
We happily accept online donations (web, mobile, and tablet) and our online service will issue tax receipts immediately. Please consider establishing a monthly donation – small amounts do add up. Of course, cheques can always be mailed to us, as well!
